The Back Up Your Birth Control website contains information regarding EC and how to get it: www.backupyourbirthcontrol.org. EC, also known as "the morning after pill" or Plan B®, is a safe and effective way to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or birth control failure. If you are 18 or older, you can now buy EC at a pharmacy without a prescription. If you are 17 or younger, you need to get a prescription from a healthcare provider to get EC at a pharmacy.

HPV Information
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website provides more information about HPV and the vaccine: www.cdc.gov/std/hpv. Information about how to get the HPV vaccine for free if you are under 18 years old can also be found at this website, under the "Vaccine for Children Program." HPV is an STD that can lead to cervical cancer. Signs of cervical cancer are usually found during a Pap test, and now there is a vaccine that can help prevent some types of HPV that are known to cause cervical cancer and genital warts.

Provides information about how and where to find reproductive health services, including Department of Health STD clinics where EC is accessible without parental permission. 311 can also provide you with information about how to get the HPV vaccine.
