Elections

NARAL Pro-Choice New York works to elect pro-choice officials across New York State, and hold them accountable to their constituents.
2014 Primary Election Results

NARAL Pro-Choice New York congratulates all our endorsed candidates that won their primaries on Tuesday, September 9th! The NARAL Pro-Choice New York General Election Voter Guide will be released in October, so be sure to return to this page before the general election on Tuesday, November 4th!

NARAL Pro-Choice New York makes endorsements based on incumbent voting records, candidate questionnaires, interviews, and information from community leaders. Barring special circumstances, NARAL Pro-Choice New York favors pro-choice incumbents over pro-choice challengers. We believe sitting lawmakers who have a proven record of supporting a pro-choice agenda deserve our endorsement. Candidates have been rated as "Pro-Choice,” "Mixed Choice,” "Anti-Choice,” or "Unknown.”
