Back Up Your Birth Control Day of Action - March 25
 Back Up Your Birth Control is a national campaign that raises awareness of and expands access to Emergency Contraception -- the safe and easy way to prevent unintended pregnancy after sex. While EC is available over-the-counter to women and men 18 and older in New York State, many New Yorkers either don't have all the info they need to back up their birth control with EC, or can't afford the $40-$60 average price for EC. These barriers to access mean that too many New Yorkers aren't able to get their hands on EC if -- or before -- an emergency arises. New York City Day of Action - March 25 The Back Up Your Birth Control Day of Action on March 25 was an unprecedented success, with hundreds of participants in 32 states! Here in NYC, we had more than 100 people handing out condoms and EC info at 23 subway stops across the city! Thanks to all participants!
