2008 is a year that will go down in history. Who's ready for a holiday break? We're looking forward to 2009, when President-elect Obama will take office and Hillary Clinton will assume the role of Secretary of State, exporting all the good she's done for our state to the rest of the world. Here in New York, the new year will bring us a new U.S. senator, a new State Senate session, and the chance to pass several important pieces of legislation, like the Clinic Access Bill and the Reproductive Health Act.
