Abortion rights group endorses Sotomayor for court

Abstract: NARAL Pro-Choice America and NARAL Pro-Choice New York issued a joint statement in support of Supreme Court nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor. NARAL based this decision on Sotomayor's testimony during her confirmation hearings, which show that she is a strong supporter of privacy rights, including a woman's right to choose abortion.
