In Health Care Battle, a Truce on Abortion

Abstract: In his latest speech to Congress about health care reform, President Obama declared that no federal dollars will be used to fund abortion. However, there is still much disagreement between abortion rights proponents and anti-choice activists about what the status quo is when it comes to federal financing of abortion.
