Abortion Fight Complicates Debate on Health Care

Abstract: The New York Times covers the battle over abortion coverage in health care reform. Abortion opponents are trying to prevent the millions of middle- and lower-income people who might receive federal insurance subsidies from using the money on plans that cover abortion. And enough anti-choice Democrats are joining with the Republicans that the outcome of the battle is too close to call.
