Abstract: Sen. Orrin Hatch is planning on introducing an amendment to the Senate health care bill that will limit abortion coverage in the new health care system. Hatch's amendment will likely mirror the language of Rep. Bart Stupak's House amendment, which ensures that people who buy insurance through the new government exchange, and use subsidies to help them do it, will not be allowed to buy a policy that covers abortion.
